Top Horses To Watch In 2018

The 2018 horse racing season is well under way, with both the huge Dubai World Cup and the every popular Kentucky Derby already behind us.

This year’s action is heating up with a few curve balls thrown in to mix things up, and keep the betting public on its toes. Horse Thunder Snows recent win at the Dubai world Cup caused a bit of a hock as he wasn’t on the radar to be a top contender – Christophe Soumillon on Thunder Snow is definitely one to watch for the rest of the season.

The recent annual epic event the Kentucky Derby has just been run – with a win by field favorite Justify who won by massive 2 and a half lengths in front of second place Good Magic.

Here we list the top horses to keep your eye on, and place a bet on, during the rest of the 2018 International horse racing season. As the sports betting NZ heats up and the betting action flies thick and fast, remember to always do your research before placing any bets.

The best way to make a profit on the horses is to ensure you have read as much as possible, researched every angle and develop a strategy for placing bets on particular horses. Yes every now and then its fun to have a bit of a flutter without serious pre planning – but strategy works best in horse race betting.

Now that the Kentucky Derby is behind us, we still have quite a few racing events in the calendar to look forward too. The Oaks is set for the 01st June, and The Derby is set for the 2nd June. Another huge event on the calendar is the Royal Ascot – end of June – get your research done for this one!
